THE RE_ACTOR

The RE-ACTOR is a performing arts workshop open to art practitioners, students and anyone interested in developing a creative practice. It offers an introduction to the performative practices of BILOURA as well as to methods of creation and composition that the Collective has found and developed to date, the result of a research that moves between different disciplines and cultural perspectives. The word "BILOURA" can be translated as "here and now". This concept is substantial in the work that the workshop RE_ACTOR proposes, as it brings individual creativity closer to a performative posture of reaction rather than action. It is an organic, integral practice of body and voice which searches for what is relevant and abandons the superfluous, focusing on the development of stage presence. BILOURA uses an intercultural approach and a transdisciplinary strategy to propose a course of exercises aimed at developing in the participants the ability to listen and observe, to connect with their intuitions, to respond to impulses, and to expand their attention and creativity.

Frame

The workshop is directed to a heterogeneous group containing both group and individual work, based on the creative experience of the participants. It is intended as an intensive 2-3 days workshop, but depending on the context, it can be also extended to an intensive week seminar.
